CD Reviews

Very good album a must for White Heart Fans
Paul W. Summers | Central Illinois, USA | 04/03/2007
(4 out of 5 stars)

"This is a great cd that I would recommend to any White Heart fan. Florian is featured on a couple tracks and he is always true to form. The cover of Dust in the Wind was pretty good but they didn't really make the song their own, I was just a little disappointed in the cover but overall it was decent. I think this is a good album, not as good as some of the White Heart efforts but way better than White Heart's Redemption cd by far. I would recommend this to any Christian Rock fan."
White Heart's Almost Album
Glenn O. Kirms | Anywhere, USA | 12/27/2008
(3 out of 5 stars)

"Since White Heart dis-banded or on hiatus as they call it (Florian now a real estate agent - go figure) Billy Smiley has put together a collection of tunes that supposedly would have been for the next White Heart album after Redemption. Whether it was terrible sales of Redemption because of their change in musical style or whether the guys just had had enough Smily kind of keeps the flame going here. He brings Florian is for 2 tracks, most notably 'Simon Says'. He adds Randy Human, Andy Joslin and himself to fill out the remainder of the album. For the die hard White Heart fans out there who haven't heard anything from the group since 1995 then this might be a treat or just a disappointment since Smily never does recapture the White Heart sound. He tries as in the song 'The Vine', but Mark Gersmehl is sadly missed and so is Florian because of just singing on two songs. Overall, not a bad album, but as I'm the first one to write any kind of review on I Tunes since it's release in 2002 and re-release in 2004 that might say a whole lot more than any review can. Check out also Smiley's instrumental album "Innermission" from 2007 if you looking for more White Heart related items."
