BAND BIOGRAPHY 69 CHAMBERS was founded by Nina Vetterli-Treml in Zurich, Switzerland. War On The Inside, the debut album of the band, was released in 2009, followed by the second album Torque in 2012. Nina worked as an automotive journalist while Tommy resurrected the cult band Coroner and recruited Diego as the new drummer. The roller coaster called life with its exceptional personal circumstances as well as inner transformations led to numerous intimate stories waiting to be written down. Nina started writing melodies and lyrics again. She channeled her energy and called the band together. Tommy produced, mixed and recorded at his New Sound Studio. Hardly noticed by the European public, 69 CHAMBERS returned to Nina's home country South Korea in the summer of 2017, where they played at the JUMF (Jeonju Ultimate Music Festival) in front of thousands of fans. Pedal to the metal: Machine is the third album of the Swiss alternative metal band 69 CHAMBERS around the charismatic South Korean-born and in Singapore raised front woman Nina Vetterli-Treml and follows the albums Torque (2012) and War On The Inside (2009). Even though the line-up has not changed since the release of Torque - with Nina playing the bass, guitarist Tommy Vetterli and drummer Diego Rapacchietti - Machine turned out to be the most personal album of this internationally successful band - without sounding soft. The vocals are still alternating between fragility and pure anger, the guitar riffs are as heavy and precise as they come and collide with the tight drums. Besides the catchy Machine and the epic Who Am I, 69 CHAMBERS also present an ode to their French speaking fans with the song Métamorphose. 69 CHAMBERS still refuse to be labeled as a rock or female fronted band - and that is what they prove very well with their 3rd album Machine!
