Ranging from age 16 to 23, the masterminds behind 4th Elemynt use their youth to advantage. The genius of their debut, Elemyntal, comes from an untainted musical vision and an insider's view on what will reach the youth culture. This unique blending of hip-hop and R&B doesn't speed you up or slow you down. It has the timeless sensation of a musical dreamscape. The curiously melodic use of rhythm in "Leave Her Alone" and the brooding atmospheric blend of instrument and voice in "Good n' Plenty" are mainstay examples of what Elemyntal has to offer. These four friends blend vocal melodies and harmonies into adamant gospel messages that exhibit the solemnity of a preacher. Unlike many contemporary groups, 4th Elemynt is not preaching to the choir. With the steady fervency of a face-off before a fight and the authoritative confidence that comes from non-negotiable conviction, their style is aimed at bringing the gospel to those outside the church. Ready for something with a fresh vibe and unique insight? Check this out. --Israel Button

CD Reviews

Melody riddled street grooves and tight harmonies

(4 out of 5 stars)

"4th elemynt, straight of of cali bring their west coast vibe and tight harmonies to the new gospel landscape with heavy geared production and straight up lyrics. The album features production by T.Boy...aka...Tonex, and 5.0 with tonex doing most of the songwriting. I like their jeepy, west coast sound that hits hard, but keeps rap elements to a minimal, with a emphasis on tight vocal stylings."

"THERE CD IS THE BOMB. I SAW THEM IN CONCERT A WHILE BACK AND I WAS TRULY BLESSED. THESE ARE FOUR ANOINTED BOYS AND THEY ARE SURE TO GO FAR. BUT THEY ARE FOR THE YOUNGER CROWD. IF THE OLDER PEOPLE DONT GET WITH THEM ITS BECAUSE ITS A NEW TIME AND A NEW STYLE OF HIP-HOP GOSPEL."
