G$ | B-More, MD | 03/18/2009 (5 out of 5 stars) "As not a huge fan of the Diplomats ( I can't stand Cam'ron, Juelz Santana & Jim Jones are average) I decided o give a chance to some of the lesser known members albums (JR Writer's I'd say were average, Hell Rell's were very impressive) and now I checked out one of 40 Cal.'s albums and was highly impressed with it, and will grab a few more of his works after hearing this one. Unlike Cam, and even to a lesser extent Juelz, Jim, and JR, 40 Cal. Doesn't have the elementary school type rhyming scheme that they have on some of there songs, and keeps it more street. With 16 songs, you get 1 classic, 1 almost classic, 2 ok songs, the other 12 ar good, most being real good songs. Guests are not too heavy, on 7 songs, rapping on 4 and doing hooks on the other 3. Production is very nice as well. Doe Boy does 9 songs; The Bangaz do 3, Shatek, Tai Jason and big tyme all do 1 song.
