CD Reviews

The editorial review on this is amazingly stupid.

"Whatever negative comments by Aiden or whatever the reviewer's name is are completely retarded. Does this guy have a clue what he's talking about? 311 is an extremely talented band, and I cannot see them trying to be like anybody else. Their own style of funk-reggae-rock-metal should not be compared to another band's music. Although I enjoy their older music better, this CD still rocks. And what do album sales of Transistor and Soundsystem have to do with anything? Most people who listen to the most "popular" music have no taste, so sales mean nothing to me. I would suggest this CD to anybody, as I would with anything made by 311."
Yes...it is here for your listening enjoyment

"Wow...You don't know anything about good music huh? Aidin, Aidin, buddy, pal...time to let the hair down, if you have some left that is. 311, at one point, may have dabbled in Chili-Pepperish style way back before "Music" even came out but that is just adolescent worshipping of some form. They have come an extremely long way since then...developed there own style that others have copied (best form of flattery) and have one of the best live shows I have ever seen (and I have seen ALOT of them, Incucbus, Sevendust, George Clinton, Creed (oh, god that might make me throw-up..nope I'm ok), Iron Maiden, Slayer, Beck, Beastie Boys, Bjork, Faith No More (their shows kicked ass too!) Metallica, Chili Peppers, Deftones, you name it, I was probably there)in my day. To make them out to be some poseur wanna-be's is just harsh, maybe you need to stop listening to so much Neil Young-Ben Harper-Dave Matthews Band-Linkin Park-Kid Rock-and N'Sync sucka. Get off ya rocker dude and listen again, maybe do some homework and listen to their other albums too so you can see just how much they have "Evolved." Maybe you'll even find out that Ron St. Germain has produced quite a few of their albums and is a friend of the band, not just trying to beef them up loser. Although your journalism may be poignant enough to get you a slot on the Amazon.com famed staff (oh God how ridiculous), one that I'm sure you beat all the other worried over-eaters for, your actual knowledge...not so good. Oooohh, he knew "Evolver" was a Beatles title...how clever."
311 is the bomb

"311 is the a collection of the most talented musicians I have ever heard. Anyone that puts down 311 is a dimwit and suspected head trauma casualty in the gulf war. Get the ignorance out of the way and listen to the music. Don't listen for styles of music that have been played out over the years. 311 is their own brand with many imitators to follow. I feel bad for stupid people with jobs in journalism. Ill probably see you on T.V..... next time the special olympics is on, REEEEETARD."
