2009 release. Risen from the ashes of German Punk/Rock 'R' Roll bands District and The Revolvers, 2nd District formed in the summer of 2005. They released a seven inch single followed by the album Emotional Suicide. With this output and many gigs in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Poland, etc., these guys showed that they are spearheading the new German underground Punk Rock scene. Their music, a mixture of Sex Pistols, Buzzcocks, Dead Boys, Slaughter & the Dogs, Eater, but also bands like New York Dolls, T-Rex, Hanoi Rocks etc. is second to none in Germany.
