CD Reviews

Go Very Fast

"How could anyone who liikes dub, electronica, acid jazz chill, lounge etc., not like this cd. Even if you buy it for the 6th track goingfast (trail mix). The 1st track maya 0 is haunting. When you're alone it will send chills down your spine. yeah, roy's track sounds like Higher Intelligence Agency but it is a good track. How could you not like the dubby 3rd track tubby. It is another keeper. Beyond oahu is a little freaky but you almost never get a best of with any cd. If you like listening to musical starstreams you will like this cd. buy it used, it is not disappointing."
Still sounds good

"In my opinion, 23 Degrees, with their dubby, organic sound, has aged a bit better than some of the other Silent Records releases of the 90's, or, in other words, this still sounds pretty fresh. Both 23 Degrees releases should be in the collection of any self-respecting "ambient" or "chillout" music aficianado. While it's true this is not quite as strong an album as "An Endless Search For Substance", there's no real difference in approach between the two releases (despite the other reviewer's remarks). To imply that this might have anything in common with 10,000 Maniacs is just irresponsible reviewing."
