Synopsis

Product Description
ROIRs fifth album with 10Ft. Ganja Plant and the bands first studio recording in 5 years, Bush Rock, is their most inspired and accomplished to date. Includes vocals by Kyle McDonald of Slightly Stoopid and features the core crew of 10 Ft. who are associated with John Browns Body.Bush Rock shows the Plant growing to new heights, while keeping their feet firmly rooted in a warm 70s roots vibe. Standout tracks Too Much Gun a Bust & Got To Be a Soldier include powerful heart wrenching vocals reminiscent of the greats like Jacob Miller & Joe Higgs. Bush Rock is a well rounded reggae/dub excursion and features both heavy dub tracks and silky sweet songs like the Melodica driven Machete Strike.

Thanks be to Jah...They have returned!

"Alright Alright Alright! The mysterious kings of reggae have returned to bring avid listeners back to the marquee summit of rocksteady roots mountain. I was completely unaware that Ten Foot was making a new album until I laid my happy eyes upon Bush Rock as a ready-made available mp3 download from Amazon, and what a tremendously pleasant surprise it was! I must admit I'm just finishing my very first listen through of Bush Rock, and so the details here are minimal, but I can absolutely say without a doubt the boys are back in full throttle jamming out the heavy rhythms they were born to play. The album's title track "Bush Rock" is one of my favorites so far, along with "Soon Come" and "So Much Confusion" but all the tracks are supreme roots quality. Who could have predicted that the steady rockin' base and drum vibrations first echoed among the tropical mountains and streams of beautiful Jamaica would ripple their evanescent way to re-creation and re-formation in such a brilliant new way by these sparkling-gem of American reggae artists. Thanks be to Jah...They have returned!
