Hi I'm new to this. I want to deposit $5 from my pay pal account, but when I go to checkout, it's asking me for my credit card number. Is that right? I was hoping to log into pay pal w/ my email and password and that's it. Is this safe? Thanks!!

You shouldn't have to give your credit card number if you have existing funds in Paypal. When I transfer money from Paypal to here, it automatically takes me to the Paypal page and I do the transaction from there.

Look to the right side of your screen when you get the credit card input form. There should be a clickable button that takes you to PayPal so that you can log in and pay that way.
