What is Wish List Multiples? Senders create a list (in this thread) of wishlisted CDs that they are willing to trade. Senders can ask that more than 1 title be ordered, thereby saving on shipping costs. Requestors are able to skip to the head of the line for wishlisted CDs by requesting more than 1 title. Here’s an example - let's say you have 2 or more wishlisted CDs you want to post, but you want to save on shipping. You can LIST your postable wishlisted CDs in this thread. Then make a request for a minimum order of CDs. If your list contains 2 wishlisted CDs you can request an order of 2 titles, if your list contains 3 titles you can request an order of 3 titles, and so on. You can’t ask for more titles than are on your list of postable wishlisted CDs (ie: require that anyone order something from your tower). The requestor would then place wanted CD’s on their wishlist, and then PM the Sender with their CD request. The Sender would then post CD’s directly to the requestor. PLEASE READ Before listing or ordering: Rules and instructions for Senders and Receivers:
"Buddying" credits for items in this topic is not allowed, nor any practice that would cause or create the bypassing of SwapaCD transaction fees.

I must be dense. I've read the first post 3 or 4 times. Can someone explin to me if this is correct? If I got to a specific users wish list and use the "post this CD" will they get the CD no matter where they are in the CD's queue? When I click the Post This CD button on a user whish list it looks to be the same as a normal post. I've got many CDs on hold that have W Wa for wished and wished auto accept. I don't post them because of the shipping rates and not really needing the credits. This seems like a good way to ship 2 or 3 titles to the same person. |

Hi Richard, Yes direct posts work the way you think they do. I use direct posting when I can, I will always check a requesters wishlist to see if I might have more than one thing to send. Each of the Swap sites have an official Wishlist Multiples Thread where users list (in this case) CD's they have that are wishlisted. They then stipulate how many CD's they would like to ship together. List your CD's here with either a link, or a UPC. That way the requester can put your CD on their wishlist. This way the requests and mailings stay in the system. |

Thanks TracyB, Any advice on how to easily extract the links for the Haves I have on hold that are currently wanted by others. Seems like there has to be a better way than visiting each album and copying it then pasting back in this thread. |

I think that's the best way to do it, but if you don't want to copy the links, you can probably just say the aritst, album title, and the number of discs in your post, and if a member is intrested in the release, you can give them the specific link in a PM. That way, you will save some time by not having to put down 20 links that may not even be accepted. Whichever way you want. |

If you have office software, the links are pretty easy. I just copy (control+c) and paste (control+v) the hyperlink into a word document. When I'm done doing that, I can paste the whole list here. Using two sessions of SWAP: one tab for your Reply here, and other tab for searching your list is a decent method too. By not providing links, you could save time. But the drawback is many people reading your post may not take the time to search what you have listed. By clicking on the link to Roy Obison's Mystery Girl in MikeL's post, I can see by the picture that I already have that CD.
