SwapaCD needs to change this wording. I have some very cheap promos where the cover (never a booklet, always a one-panel cover insert) and back insert are printed either on a black and white printer, or your everyday color printer. The CDs, while silver, with artwork, are cheaply made, to the point where they even feel lighter. Who the hell wants to be getting things like that through this site, and be forced to pay for it?
This is a mistake lala.com would make. I am for allowing promos, but there has to be restrictions that state the promo MUST be identical to the retail version of the CD—booklet, CD, artwork, tracklisting, etc. Some promos come with different artwork, so users could maybe PM each other in that instance. Either way, the rule should be that retail CDs marked as PROMOTIONAL, whether on the disc or booklet, or both, are allowed. No other promo should be.
Who wants to receive a promo in a cardboard sleeve? Who wants to received a promo that has the front and back art, all the correct tracks, but those 12 tracks are split up into 99 tracks. Or who wants to receive a promo with voiceovers?
This rule needs MORE!
