"My family literally grew up listening to this album. My father, Abe Levine, a retired Denver Police Officer, wrote the 1st track, I Love to Eat Chili in Chile, inspired (believe it or not) by my mother's famous chile! It is a delight to see this album re-released on CD. This is a great nostalgic album surely to delight listeners who grew up in the 50s."
On The Road With Rock 'N Roll

"Mando & the Chili Peppers were excellent musicians and entertainers. This record is a good example of the music that made them a popular touring band in the 1950s. A nice mixture of R&B and Rock & Roll. This album is a classic that all oldies fans should have."
