I figured it'd be cool to start a thread to recommend CD's that are widely available on here -- must haves for one's collection.

Nirvana Unplugged in New York (even if you don't like their harder/grungier stuff, this is very mellow)

Sting Fields of Gold (his solo hits)

I like Now That's What I call Christmas fro 2001. There are also a lot of good Elton Johns on here that many people may not have heard of, Sleeping WIth The Past, Reg Strikes Back, etc. My father likes REM's Monster, which is on here in bulk.
