Anything's better than the dreck they blast over and over in the stores and on the radio, and someone needs to stand against Mariah Carey.  This album is a great addition to Projekt records' longstanding "Excelsis: A Dark Noel" ethereal/gothic/darkwave Christmas compilation albums and EP's for those who want something that walks somewhere between the roudy, bombastic carols and the sweet and soothing enya.
