Hi fellow music hounds...

Searching for oddball 80s and late 70s skinny tie style new wave bands.  It's got to be oddball stuff bc I own all of the usual suspects (Pretenders, Producers, Pere Ubu, Payolas, Psych Furs, etc. - you get the drift).  Willing to pay 1.5 credits for cool titles and I pay handsomely for oddball stuff I really want.  If you have any of this stuff (most people call it crap) sitting in a box in your garage, please let me know and maybe we can work a deal.

I know there's some fans of the Penguin Cafe (Orchestra) out there - this is their self-released 2014 outing - The Red Room.  Same chilled southern European sound as ever.  ONly 1 credit - order anything off my tower and I will send this instead (maybe both) - the reason I do this is to make sure sacd.com gets their money AND I can use the postage feature rather than trek down to the post office.  Thanks and trade on!

Hi all,

You know what you get - a generous smattering of discs with all art from a variety of genres - open your ears to new things - there will be some soul, some jazz, some classic rock, some alternative rock, some new wave and include whatever cool stuff I can find.  Chances are it'll be like 22 discs (basically however many I can cram into package).

I have a local record store Zia that is very well stocked with discs r all types and price ranges.  I routinely scour the dollar bins for things I can trade (I look up wishlisted items on the phone to try and make sure I won't get stuck with something - although sadly, that still happens).  Thrift stores like Goodwill, Salvation Army and SAVERS all offer great deals on used discs and honestly I have come acorss everything from box sets, to remastered 2 CD editions to imports to MFSL discs at these stores.  I am going today to scope out some more thrift finds - latest great find - a remastered expanded edition of The Who's 'Who's Next' - 1.99.  You cannot beat that.  One persons trash is another man's treasure - I hope the whole world turns to streaming so I can buy up their CD collections for pennies on the dollar and then sell them when they hit $30 a disc like has happened with vinyl!
