Hello all,

Symbion Project, one alias of electronica artist Kasson Crooker, has some interesting releases that aren't in the database.  Crooker's colleague from '90s band Splashdown, Melissa Kaplan, often collaborates on the Symbion albums.

Here are my unpostables:

  • Misery in Soliloquy (2009) - the 2-disc set. Disc 1 is the normal music cd, and Disc 2 is a quad-mix of the music on a DVD. 1 credit for this set.
  • Contrapasso (2011) - 1 disc. 9 tracks. 1 credit, of course.

Also take note, Crooker has another project named The Planets Won't Let You Sleep Tonight.  The singer is an enigmatic woman known only as 3V3_T3A.  This is on my Tower.

I, too, have seen most of my metal cds go fast here.

Hmmm...maybe Medieval Baebes.

Sanna Kurki-Suonio, or Hedningarna: Tra, or Kaksi.

Renaissance: Song of Scheherazade, Ocean Gypsy.

Older Nightwish, like Sleeping Sun.

Massive Attack - they often use guest singers.

Tayana Bulanova has a beautiful voice (Ne Otrekayutsya Lyubya), but lots of her stuff is more pop.

Unwoman.

There's no one quite like Enya. She should totally do a Halloween album. It would scare the crap out of people.

"Round and Round" is good to sing along. Most of the songs are more electronic dance.

omg, she's back after more than 10 years!  Lita got a band together and played the Rocklahoma festival in July.  She said on XM radio that it's time to explore writing new material.  Can you imagine?  Will it sound just like the 80s? Or will she try to be "taken seriously"?

Lita's one of my metal heroes.  Is anyone else excited?
