CD Reviews

"This cd blends up a lot of styles. It is a jazz cd taht makes use of rock, blues , great moods and adds up some latin rythms in it. It is great. Some songs are also nice jazzy tunes with a feeling taht'll make you want to cry. To say Breaux's guitar talks out is an understatement. For any good music lover this is a must, and the jazz fans won't be dissappointed at all. Show this cd to your freinds and they'll love it. But mostly, you'll find yourself flying as you listen to it, to the great musical abilities in it, and in time you'll find yourself doing some da-da-da in your mind, and feel so relaxed by great music."
Zachary's best work yet.

"Zachery Breaux was a brillant musician. It breaks my heart knowing that we will never get any more music from him. "Where is the love", among a few other singles from other musicians is the best jazz musicial I have ever heard. RIP Zachary."

"I've received a lot of emails regarding this cd. What to say... "Thinking of Alexis" is a song for his son. But Zachary is gone, died some years ago. So the songs are even more emotional. It is impressive how he evoques his son in this song, solo guitar coming out of his soul, relaxed, playing live. You'll hear the people screaming his name and the man of the bar screaming his name also. "Picadillo" from Tito Puente shows the musicians abilities, as well as Zachary's, to introduce themselves into different styles, in this case, latin jazz. But my favorites are the calm ones: #5 and #7. I bought his "Laidback" cd and I just know Zachary shouldn't have died. Groovin' is a live cd. Everyone should have it. And we should email the company for giving us some more of Breaux's cd's. For now, stick to Alexis, and you'll fly with Zach.Listen to his guitar, top-notch live performance, screaming, crowd, superb drummer and pianist, and Zach flying with his guitar. I can't describe it. I talk too much. I know. Let's claim for it!"
