Synopsis

Album Description
Revelation: 62 Out of print for over 6 years now this classic record comes with 5 bonus tracks from an ultra-rare collection of Connecticut hardcore bands. Originally released on Kevin Seconds' (7 Seconds) Positive Force label as a 7", "Can't Close My Eyes" captures the band at their earliest, rawest and most exciting. Featuring the original line-up this record set the tone for Youth Of Today's incredibly influential career. Now the record is being re-issued with 5 bonus cuts from one of the bands first recordings ever. Classics like "We Just Might" and "Take A Stand" can now be heard like never before. These bonus cuts were previously only available on a rare Connecticut local hardcore record titled "Connecticut Fun". Now, they appear with the complete "Can't Close My Eyes" recordings totally remastered and in a completely redesigned package with great photos, lyrics and discography notes.

"Hold the microphone to the toilet, crank up the stereo volume, flush toilet and you will achieve the same melody found on this album "music." Music is harmony and rhythm, not screaming and irrational noise with depressing lyrics. Oh well, more pied piper's to hell. Any kid that likes this garbage should be locked up in a padded cell and taken out to be caned periodically."
