This album grooves, Nat and J.J. sound great together.

"You know, I read some bad reviews of this album but I gotta say it rocks. Nat and J.J. sound sweet together, and the song selections are great. I especially like Nat's sound on Hummin' (you may remember this from the album 'country preacher'), there's just so much soul in that melody. As I understand it, this was J.J.'s first jazz recording in eight years and marked his return to the scene."
