"Walt Wagner's The Miracle Piano concerto is a magical piece of music. It contains music that ranges from lyrical melody to profoundly solemn and dark moods. It tells a story of bright challenge; dark contemplation; sweet redemption, and joyous celebration. For me, the music contains a new discovery each time I listen to it, and it has provided a good holiday gift opportunity for my friends who have great variation in their musical tastes. The second piece (Rhythms) is a good counterpoint for The Miracle as a study in rhythmic variations."
