"Vontel is a fresh breeze flowing through the ghost town of originality. He has proven that hip hop can be exciting without having to jump on the bandwagon and bite someone elses s***. This album is filled with beats, hooks, unique vocals, and true content for all the hip hop headz. Ninty percent of the the album is flawless. The only track that seems to be wack is Down with U. If you enjoy the new album from TQ, you will enjoy this. Soulful sounds with a spice of gangster vocals. I only wish more people knew of the good s*** like this. I had someone get it for me after I was down in the 602 at the hip hop unity conference where Vontel performed. Unfortunately, I did not know that this site existed when I went looking for it."

"Voila un de mes albums préférés, pure G-funk! Vontel vient de l'Arizona (602), ce n'est donc ni du LBC, ni du Compton et pourtant certaines prods. sont assurées par Battlecat et il y a meme le grand R.Troutman en guest sur 2 tracks. Bref, c'est du lourd, du gros calibre avec 15 titres et pas un à jeter ! De la G-Funk, de la vraie, avec des refrains, des sirènes, des bass faites au moog et des beats qui claquent leur race. Fan de Mr.X, Foesum, Twinz et autres Dazzie Dee, il vous faut Vontel "Vision of a dream". Seul tache au tableau, il est tres dur a trouver et lorsque c'est fait il est cher, voir tres cher. Mais la G-Funk est si rare que pour elle, on ne compte pas..."
