John Houshmand's first album with the 10MB picks up where his earlier Laurasia work ends. New instrumental compositions for guitar and group are a synthesis of orchestral music, solo guitar pieces and group improvisation - a "chamber jazz" for the 90's. Lush waltzes are punctuated with percussive tribal chants, rambling guitar concoctions are laced with catchy violin and sax melody lines.
