CD Reviews

Going to their show made a difference

"I had this album for a while, and I didn't care for it too much until I went to their show.

They sang "Blessings" which is the last 'hidden track,' and "Love." I went back to the cd and listened to it, and although the production is a little on the short side (the reason I didn't care for the album), the lyricism hit me harder and with more significance.

After getting over the production part of the album, other songs like "Audible Angels," (which you might not get on the first listening), and "Rob No One" (a cute little story that tells how tight the group members are outside the stage) really put me in place. I also like "Time is Running Out" for its beats (especially in my car) and lyrics.

For their very first effort of getting together as a group and cranking out classics, I can't give it less than 5 stars."
Downloaded their mp3's first, before investing the cash ....

"I got hooked on stargazer (track 16), the musical selection/ production is unlike anything (with the exception of the shapeshifters). within the underground rap genre. Track number 9. (Here to stay) was worth the purchase of the cd. love the dense high speed meaningfull lyrics...... Can't wait to pick up Pangea. The tittle track kicks ass......."

"Once and awhile there are a group of people that come out of nowhere with some dope shit, now mind you, it doesn't happen often, but in Visionaries case, it sure does. I wasn't even up on these guys until somebody told me that we should review the Visionaries album, and I was like, who? So I decided to look into these guys and pick up the album, what a treat, this album is dope, tracks like, "Time Is Running Out", and "Blessings" restore my faith in basic hiphop tracks, dope lyrics over a hype drum tracks, but don't get it twisted, the production is on point, just peep, "Come On", even though it has a very familiar loop, you can't front on these cats. Basically, if you are in the market for some new underground shit, be sure to pick up this album. Review by: lowbudget"
