this is not one of them. Most of the singers are second-rate and boring, so are the conducter and orchestra. I'm happy I only bought the highlight CD and not the complete set. If you want a budget-price highlight CD of aida get the one with Tebaldi and Bergonzi (on the eloquence lable) or the one with caballe and domingo (Emi encore) both are fabulous! " |
