Something new for a change! 1 Hr. of thunder and ocean waves breaking on the shore. If this doesn't help you to sleep then something is wrong!! There is no music at all on this! Got this from Amazon this week and put it on my MP3 player and sounds terrific!!! This is even listed at All Music Guide!
I may try out "Sounds of the Forest at Night" for my next mother nature CD!! - David N.

"This tape transports me back to a favorite island beach (empty in the rainy season); the darkness of the night sky above the black rolling waves a backdrop to an intense audio experience. That said, let me stress for perfectionists, the sound quality of this recording is not perfect. Though, after the first listen I no longer cared. This is a storm to sooth with just the right amount of thunder diminishing gradually and naturally to a low rumble at the end. The waves are perfect for methodically relaxing the spirit. There's no music, new age or otherwise for you to grow bored with -- this is as fresh as, well, rain, every time you listen to it. When I can't fall asleep I put this on. Also highly recommended for deep meditation."
