"The maxi pop series begins to get much more alternative and goth rock than `new wave' in its later volumes, and this volume has plenty of curiosities to discover that weren't even popular in the US. Along with some undiscovered treasures, you'll find some hard-to-find songs and even some 12" mixes, including Rain by the Cult, Duel by Propaganda, Dead Eyes Opened by Severed Heads, and Stigma by A Popular History of Signs. The important thing to note is that while most of these tracks have great sound quality, a couple were clearly mastered from vinyl, because there is an occasional pop noticeable. Track times:
