Another good compilation from Hellcat

"Hellcat Records is definantly my favorite record label and I like, probably, most of the bands His label has produced. With that being said, this compilation is good, though I liked Give 'Em The Boot III and IV better. Either way if you like good punk and especially if you're new to the Hellcat label, there is no better way to dive in than to get these compilations, though I wouldn't recommend this one first off.

Quality songs but most are pretty easy to forget. Love the Rancid, DKM, Slackers, Horrorpops, and even Los Difunctos (who I hadn't heard prior). Really don't like the Heart Attacks' song.

No reason to buy this if you know the bands already

"I personally have no reason to buy this cd because I know and like most of the bands on this comp already. There is no denying the quality of this music--hellcat bands are always great as they are hand picked by mr. armstrong himself.

With that said, the amount of songs is weak compared to earlier offerings, and the unreleased songs are weak and from the mediocre hellcat bands. Additionally, this album is $1 more than the previous offerings. I have to wonder what they were thinking.

I can only suggest this album for hellcat newcomers, but still I think volumes 1-3 were much stronger.

And for the record, "tattoo" by rancid is not "ultra rare.""

Might as well get this one too...
