Synopsis

Album Description

2009 two CD collection, an installment in Harmless' Disco Discharge series. Disco exploded out of the Gay clubs of the world in the '70s. Whilst the Disco Sucks campaign killed the vibe for the majority, the Gay scene refused to give it up. The beats got faster and the drugs got harder as they partied into the '80s. All tracks at least 12 inches long! 19 tracks. Harmless.

"I have been searching from some of these tunes on CD for years. Vivian Vee's "Give me a Break" and Yvonne Kay's (who is actually Spagna) "Rise Up for your Love" are worth buying the CD for. This is a great collection of Euro Disco. Kudos to the producer. You made this man very happy. Jeff in Los Angeles."
