Clever, elegant and shockingly good

"When I picked up this unimpressively packaged disc at my local Big Lots for a dollar, I wasn't expecting much. I thought "hey, for a buck, why not?" reasoning that if it had one good song on it I could use it as part of a mixed CD for my Christmas parties and still feel like it was a value. I was floored. This may actually be the finest modern Christmas album I've heard to date. It's swing, but not kitschy and the arrangements are as unexpected as they are catchy. I'm not sure of the band performing or who did the arrangements --no credit is given to either on the disc I have-- but I'm glad I risked the dollar. I wound up with a great, timeless Christmas album."
Great, inexpensive swing compilation

"For the money, you can't go wrong with this disc if you're a fan of Christmas and swing. My fav tracks are Vodka Vountry and God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, although there's not a bad track on here.
One one track has singing (Santa Clause Is Coming to Town) and the rest is just instrumental. Great for background music if having a party.
If you like Ultra-Lounge: Christmas Cocktails, you'll love this as well."
