Synopsis

Album Description
The curtain falls on the phenomenon of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour with One For The Road, the final installment in what has become one of the most successful comedy projects in history. The comedy tour, featuring Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, Ron White, and Larry The Cable Guy, kicked off in 2000 and has sold out shows in more than 90 cities, grossed more than $15 million in concert box office, spawned a TV series and sold more than 7 million DVDs and 1 million albums. This two-CD chronicle of Washington, D.C., concerts recorded in March 2006 marks their final performance on stage together. Now the Blue Collar Comedy Tour rides into the sunset with One For The Road.

Bil Engvall was funny, but the rest of the show deteriorated into junior high humor that left me cold. I didn't care for it. I believe you can be funny without being gross and these guys were over the top.

CD Reviews

Hilarious, but lacking in comparison to the DVD

"The Blue Collar Boys are back for their final installment (at least, that's what the press releases say; I'd guess that it won't be too long before they try doing this once again) and everyone here is at their best!

*Bill's stuff is, as always, side-splitting. He's probably the best one of the bunch.

*Ron adds even more variety to his endless routine to keep himself from being "typecast" like the others have.

*Jeff's back to the classic "You Might Be" humor that made him famous, and I for one am glad to hear it again.

*Larry remains the weakest performer of the group, but does manage to snag a few laughs out of this.

There is one section that should not have been included on this:

Towards the end of the show, all four guys sit down to show and discuss photos that were supplied by their wives as material for a "finisher" routine. It's damn funny in the movie, but its pointless here since we can only hear their reactions to the supposed images.

Aside from that minor flaw, this is a great addition to the lineup of Blue Collar Humor!"
Great as are their previous two, but ...

"order the DVD. There are biographical pictures of the 4 of them with their commentaries and the humor's lost without the visual. THe added music "filler" tracks were unnecessary"
