CD Reviews

'Airheads' - Movie Soundtrack (Fox Records) various artists
Mike Reed | USA | 02/12/2005
(3 out of 5 stars)

"As for movie soundtracks go,it's okay.Motorhead re-recorded their tune "Born To Raise Hell" with some help from Whitfield Crane(Ugly Kid Joe)and Ice-T.Nice job!Didn't mind Four Non Blondes covering Van Halen's "I'm The One"(you read that right)and sort of liked the Candlebox track "Can't Give In".Personally thought that Prong's "Inheritance" and the Ramone's contribution to the CD "We Want The Airwaves" was pretty mediocre.Big problem here is that the movie holds the test of time much MORE than this here soundtrack CD.Sure it was nice when it first came out,but it soon fades into the past rather quickly."
Nice Album

"This is a pretty damn good soundtrack with an all-around spread of different genres of music. Metal, rock, and punk are all present on this album which is definitely a good thing. If you're new into music or something and are interested in metal, general rock, or punk rock then pick this soundtrack up. If you like those three genres, get it as well. Good soundtrack for a good movie.By the way, "Degenerated" is by the punk band Reagan Youth and is not an original. They should've given them credit."
