Piece of history

"If you're going to buy this CD, please have in mind that this was a live show recorded at Madison Square Garden's Felt Forum in 1969. So don't expect the sound quality to be the same that you would hear on a live CD recorded today. Putting that aside, you can appreciate that this is a piece of Doo Wop history, since there are very few live shows recorded from the main groups of the 50s and 60s. By what I heard, it sounds that most groups had their original lead singers, except for The Spaniels. I couldn't really identify Pookie Hudson in "Goodnight Sweetheart". The only negatives were the sound quality and the exaggerated use of applause. But then again, they still do that today.
