CD Reviews

Ice is Back!

"I wasnt sure what to expect when i seen this was coming out..Im a pretty big Ice fan..i more so like his new rock/rap style but i have always liked Ice Ice Baby of course.

This cd is really cool..1st off you get a new updated Ice Ice Baby ( and what i mean by that is the music is the same but his voice sounds better to me) he did have an updated version a few years back but it was kinda a remix, so its cool to just have this one..

I really enjoyed the " Rock Hero Mix" of Ice Ice Baby..its pretty cool..

The best tracks on this to me are

"You Dropped A Bomb On Me" ( we get Ice singing in a way and it sounds good)

"Jump Around" ( this is my fav! its a rock/rap version that is great)

"You Gots To Chill" ( this is great )

"Buffalo Soldier" ( this suprised the hell outta me! i think Ice did awesome on this , i coudlnt believe how good it was!)

the others are ok but not my favs..

i think this album show Vanilla Ice is the best white rapper..thats why he went 17 times platinum with his debut cd!!"
Are you serious?

"It's shocking to me how anyone could actually have listened to this album and 'liked' it. I mean, I kinda 'liked' it in the same way you look at a car crash when you drive by, morbid curiosity. But the fact that 2 individuals really liked this album blows my mind! This album is THE WORST album in recording history. I'm surprised the equipment didn't melt when the guy pressed the record button. And there were people that actually 'worked' on this...amazing. My buddy bought this for me as a joke for Christmas, and I'm hoping he didn't shell out $14.99 of his money he earned working at a real job. Shame on anyone who likes this, admits it, and posts it on Amazon. I'm talking to you comments #1 and #2. Now excuse me while I go wash my ears out with diesel and razor blades."
The haters are everyone, ignore them!

"Here's the deal, this is NOT Ice's best album, but it has some good tracks and it's worth hearing if you liked Vanilla Ice in the past. I'm a huge Ice fan and I am happily admitting this (in addition to saying this album isn't his best, I'm being fair). Personally, I think Hard to Swallow was his best work.

But let me make sure everyone understands what these negative reviews are about. They're really not about this album, they're about the fact that it's "cool" to bash on Vanilla Ice. I guarantee you none of them have even listened to the album. They MIGHT have listened to the sample tracks here on amazon. But that didn't matter because they were going to write a negative review no matter what.

Look, who cares what a bunch of childish idiots have to say? If you're looking at this page because you like Ice, or used to. Give the album a shot. Maybe you'll like it, maybe you won't. But don't let someone else decide for you. Especially a guy who hates Vanilla Ice and got all his friends to come on here and bash Ice with him.

Buffalo Soldier and Jump are pretty sweet remakes. Ice Ice baby is a classic and has a few flavors on this album, they're all good. Insane in the brain deserves some credit too. All-in-all, not a horrible album, but not his greatest. Still worth a listen. Check out some of his past albums too, you won't regret it!"
