"I've come to find that many Holiday Compilations are filled with cheesy ballads and overly religious sentiment...This cd however is awesome across the board!



Many of the holiday covers deviate from the originals with really creative interpretations. Indie rockers like Push to Talk, The Trophy Fire and Built for the Sea all do beautifully mellow layered versions of their songs while Elephone, The Hundred Days and Scissors for Lefty make for some of the albums more upbeat tracks.



This record really shows the diversity of an amazing SF scene! Get it. It's fantastic"

"Music is always a hard thing to recommend because people's tastes vary so much and music is often hard to describe. That said...



This CD is great! It is a wonderful break from the tired style of just about every xmas album out there. It proves I can still be into Christmas without a bad sweater and fruitcake. The eclectic bands create a well produced warm yet high energy compilation. It's also a nice introduction to some voices I've never heard before but will look for in the future."
