CD Reviews

Why?

"I gave this cd 5 stars because Ultravox is my favorite band and I love all the songs on here. But . . . I'm having slight difficulty figuring out the purpose of this cd. It isn't as if this offers anything new. These tracks can be found in many other UV album cd's and greatest hits cd's. Look around. There are several other UV compilation cd's on the market. This just reaks of the record company trying to make a buck by throwing together yet another UV mix of songs. THIS OFFERS NOTHING NEW."
A good collection

"Yes, there are many brilliant tracks from all the albums from "Vienna" to "U-Vox". A good choice for a very good price (here in Italy I spent 4 pounds!), and if you like this CD you can also buy their "Vienna" album, maybe their best record, or "Lament". "Visions In Blue" is one of the best tracks of the 80s, and it makes me shiver everytime I listen to it. And Midge Ure is an excellent singer."
All Good

"All great tracks but I feel I must point out that Slow Motion comes from the Album "Systems of Romance" which came before Vienna and before Midge Ure joined Ultravox. At that time John Foxx was lead singer, and he gets virtually no credit for some reason, and you can tell it's the odd track out. It's still good even if it's a different style."
