Keegan | NJ -USA | 03/16/2004 (4 out of 5 stars) "First of all i'm a die hard UFO fan,i own EVERY UFO album not just the michael shenker cd's...some of you fools reviewing the ufo albums without michael ..1) do the band a disservice 2)are smokin crack, and 3) are very inept in your musical judgement. While i'm a huge shenker fan he is far from the greatest guitar god,and i hate to break the news to ya's but for overall sound/effect and appeal paul chapmans just good as michael on many a song. That bein said MAKING CONTACT is one of the top five UFO albums MADE!!!! the top five UFO albums any fan should get are (PHENOMENON,LIGHTS OUT,NO PLACE TO RUN,MAKING CONTACT,and WALK ON WATER) along with the two live cd's BBC,and strangers in the night. Misdemeaner has some cool 80's guitar and is an attempt at mainstream(and they deserve to be mainstream) so who can blame them,and some of these songs are pretty cool...IF,I might add if you have an open mind (so that excludes most of you shenker diehards)............" Paul Mcguinn | chicago il usa. | 04/09/2009 (1 out of 5 stars) "these two albums by ufo were the weakest ever! i am a fan of both the michael schenker and paul chapman era ufos, however by the time making contact was released the band had gone through a revolving door of personal changes which is a situation that does,nt always make for ideal conditions to create great albums under..making contact has a couple of fairly good songs. however after the making contact tour ufo split up for a while..until 1986 when with yet another new line up they created mis demeanor..which i bought at the time thinking it,s great ufo is back sort of!..when i brought it home i could,nt wait to hear it!!...wow what a disappointment..for the first time i had a ufo album that i did,nt even like one song from! i gave it 2 more listens.. and never listened to it again!!it is not a misdemeanor it is a felony!"
