I can honestly say that it was the best musical purchase I've ever made. I listened to this CD throughout the rest of my pregancy, while in labor, through the delivery, and every day since. My 17 month old son goes to sleep to it every night. There is nothing more relaxing at the end of a hard day than this CD (or any of the other Growing Minds with Music CDs). I highly recommend it to all." The CD cover does state that there are supposed to be 36 songs, and there certainly are not 36 tracks, but it is more of a medley style with pieces woven into each other. I like it better this way as it seems to induce sleep easier than other lullaby CDs that have very distinct songs, track ending, then another song. This style is less distracting. I particularly like the instrumental version of "Sleep my child."
My child has been listening to this CD at bedtime for about a year now and it has become a real source of comfort -- lulling him to sleep more easily and with better dreams. We have even had fewer issues with night wakings. Beautiful and peaceful music. Highly recommended! I really don't know what I would do without it." |
