Born To Survive is a collection of 20 songs, that reaches from his first major label recording Dream Out Loud to Everything' Gonna Be Alright. Included on this album are 13 songs that reached number one position on County Tracks Top 30, others that are responsible for Troy's mantelpiece creaking under the weight of numerous ARIAs and Golden Guitars. Born To Survive also features a number of Troy's most highly regarded duets, these include Slim Dusty (The Biggest Disappointment), Jimmy Barnes (Bird On A Wire), Tommy Emmanuel (Ramblin' Man), Paul Kelly (I Wish I Was A Train) and Shane Howard (River Boy).
