"Troop you are in my heart always... your music makes my day. "Deepa" will always be one of my favorite albums along with the rest of your albums as well. No other group could replace you, that's why you are greatly missed.Love You, Glossee"
It Was Sweet November, Will Bring Back A Love We Once Knew

"Ok, we know New Edition were pioneers, we know vocally Boyz II Men are arguably the best R&B vocal group. In between, there are other greats in their own right like Shai, Portrait, UNV, Jodeci, Color Me Badd, Hi-Five, II D Extreme, H-Town, Me-2-U, Yours Truley, Voices, EnVogue, Good2Go, Jade, SWV, Badd Boyz Of The Industry, and others.. but, Troop raised the stakes for even these greats I mentioned with this one album since "Attitude", their second album.

I had already heard "Whatever It Takes", the first single but, it was "Sweet November", the second single that really upped the ante. This song, a Babyface-penned The Deele remake was the song that just made November 1992 the month!! I did a LOT of "hanging out" with buddies & and ladies who were R&B addicts like myself and we ALL loved this song as well as the rest of the album. "Praise" was such a strong opening for this album as well as the other songs that followed with strong New Jack Swing-filled overtones even the team of Boyz II Men & producer of "Cooleyhighharmany" Dallas Austin would have to applaud. After "Sweet November" ends, Troop gives us a nice relaxing and seductive thunderstorm sound effects that doesn't end, better yet, it sombers right into "Come Back To Your Home" a undescovered gem that ranks right on up there with "Sweet November" I can remember like it was yesterday hering those two songs as well as "You Take My Heart With You", "Deepa", & "Give It Up", which reminds me very much of the 'parties' in my friends' guestrooms when these ballads were played by the DJ, but I digress. "Hot Water" was a nice 'last song' before the Troop 'Deepa' party set winds down with a very seductive keyboards & vocals-only version tease of a "Come Back To Your Home" sneaking in and sneaking out to remind us of what we been listening to before ending this set, leaving us wanting more.

This albums deserves TEN stars but, will have to settle for 5. This is not just a must-have for any R&B fan, but a must get for any MUSIC fan of ANY era. These guys give any R&B group a run for their money. 100% recommended!!
