"Singer/Songwriter Toto Cutugno is one of Italian greats. My cousin (whose review can be found below)was the first to mention his name to me in the early 1980s. I am glad he did. Cutugno really knows how to craft songs, and I've enjoyed listening to them for hours. In the early and mid 1980s, Cutugno, Adriano Celentano, and Al Bano and Romina Power were among the most popular artists in the Soviet Union! It was quiet an achievement to be so big in a society that did not speak Italian at all and was generally afraid of foreigners. This CD gives many of Cutugno's greatest songs under one musical roof.
