"well, no! when i first bought this record, several years ago, i thought how can anybody record this, hum, "music"? it was plain "noise". but afterwards, i found it very energizing, vigorous, in a way sonic youth or shellac records do but in a different way. like if you listened to john coltrane's "a love supreme". your body gets tense, and you feel you're ready to run a marathon.
it sounds like the squeek-noise made by one or two violins, and there are some keyboards in the background, and someone hitting a pillow. the most alike music, let's say, could be the velvet underground's "sister ray", among others velvet's early songs.
interesting drones for those who are getting into avant-garde music, a must for the aficionado and a headache for the britney spear loving ones.
two thumbs up!"
