A great epilogue to "Limbo"
04/15/1999
(5 out of 5 stars)

"If you liked "Limbo" and were sad to see the Muses go you should definitely go for this. The first b-side "If" is a rad cover song, I think of the Latin Playboys, definately Musesafied and erie. Complete with weird percussion and backwards-running guitars. The next track, a live version of "Take," is the high point of the disc for me. It sounds alot ALOT different from the original version on Hunkpapa, it's faster, more rock-out and bluesy (sounds exactly like the live version of the song on "the Curse"). Plus the song has some of my favorite Muses lyrics ever. The last song, "heel toe," takes things out sweetly and ominously, sort of in the same fashion that the song "Hips and Makers" takes out that album. Well as usual I've made myself sound like an idiot in trying to describe how good the Muses are in words. It's alot better than I have made it sound, so buy it."
