CD Reviews

You gotta hear this
Gregory P. Carrier | Iowa City, IA USA | 09/23/2008
(5 out of 5 stars)

"OK, I read a review of this in Paste magazine. Sounded interesting. I found Theresa's MySpace page with three sample tracks. All excellent. Actually, better than that. There is a rare, inspired feel to this stuff that doesn't come along every day. I'm writing this review without even hearing the whole album, but that's how good these tracks are. I heard "Na Na Na" once and knew it was going to stick in my head all day, and that's a GOOD thing. Also, check out the video of Theresa doing "Na Na Na" live in her kitchen.

I'm jumping on this (one-woman) bandwagon, in a big way. Can't wait to hear the rest of the album."
WOW!

"I stumbled across Theresa Andersson on YouTube and was intrigued. Listened to the sample tracks on her MySpace page and decided I needed to have this CD, and that I need to spread the word about this refreshing and exciting young artist.

Forget the fact that she is a "one woman show" and that this CD was recorded in her kitchen. It's just great music that makes me want to hum, tap and sing along.

I'm hooked!"
Great Album

"I'd been hearing 'Birds Fly Away' on the radio for awhile and became curious about the artist. After seeing the video of her performing her looping mastery in her kitchen I decided I had to buy the album in support. My opinion is that 'Birds Fly Away' is the best song on the album but all the songs are high quality and some of them are definitely growing on me. My musically sophisticated sixteen year old daughter loves the album."
