"I just couldn't let this wonderful collection go without at least one customer review. I recently puchased this CD to replace my worn out double LP, and I am trying to wear this one out too. These recordings, made from 1952-59 contain a who's who of the period (from Donald Byrd to the Trane) playing with Monk. If you are reading this review you must have an ear for his music and this compilation is with out a doubt some of the very best Jazz ever."
