"This was probably my true introduction to the blues back in the mid 60s.. The fledgling Yardbirds and Eric Clapton take lessons from a master bluesman, SB Williamson. Great club atmosphere. The liner notes claim that the Crawdaddy Club was freezing when this concert was recorded - but the boys brought the temp up to a sweltering heat with their playing. A historic footnote to the British Invasion. A feel-good lp and one of nostalgic significance for any British-blues fan."
