The Quit is an Indie rock band based out of Seattle, Washington. Early incarnations of the band began in 2004, but the current lineup has been together since 2005. The Quit consists of Scott Shoemaker (Vocals, Keyboard, Guitar), Nash McBride (Lead Guitar), Chris Borgia (Bass), and Charles Pinnell (Drums).
On May 6th 2008, The Quit released their first full-length album titled Minus Tide . Teaming with Engineer/Producer Scott Colburn (Arcade Fire, Animal Collective), the album was recorded at Gravel Voice Studios, a 100 year old church converted into Colburn s home studio.
