"This is not an imitation, Charlie Thomas was an original who is singing lead on these songs. He was with the Drifters singing the harmonies on all of their biggest hits and the rest of the songs. These are Charlie Thomas' Drifters, which makes them legit. So please don't listen to the other reviews about this being an imitation. Great Music, you won't be disappointed, but if you are looking for the original recordings, get "The Golden Hits" CD. But this cd here, is still a great one to have in your music collection, being that these songs were recorded in better studios than the original recordings. As we all know studio technology and the microphones get better as time goes on, and this collection is great proof. Buy, listen, and enjoy."
