Synopsis

Album Description
After the Meatmen broke up, lead Meat Tesco Vee formed this little group featuring members of Washington DC's Black Market Baby. They released a bunch of rare 7" records and one album, Gonzo Hate Vibe, a rollercoaster ride of tongue in cheek humour, sacrilegious screeds and blazing punk metal, all held together by the indomitable Mr. Vee. This CD reissue features the full 1992 album as well as some rare bonus tracks, including covers of the Germs' "Manimal" and REM's "Losing My Religion."

The Meatmen's Tesco Vee Doing What He Does Best...
Chris Doelling | 03/11/1999

"Loaned this baby out and it never came back.Miss it.The Jeffery Dammer song done to "Yummy, Yummy, Yummy--I got love in my tummy!" Is worth reprinting the CD in and of itself. Great Album"
Obnoxiousness at it's best(or worst for the faint of heart)

"I had this album, once. ONCE! Some fool stole it from me and i've been searching for a replacement for 7 years... i'll kill that punk if i can find him. This album has some of the greatest works of non-politically correct music ever. "nothing at all" is fast paced short song about, well, nothing at all.
The crowning glory of this album is the masterpiece known as "F**king the dough". You really,REALLY need to hear this. But, if you gotta ask, you'll never get it. A must have(back) album."
King Tesco In His Finest Form...

"This is one of Tesco's funniest and best works EVER! Every song kills, but some finer points are "Big Boob Bonanza" about strip clubs, "F@#kin'The Dough" about a twisted pizza maker, and a bunch more all as good as the last. Unfortunately, I too lost my copy, and have been searching for years for another(I've only ever seen the one). I don't know if it's out of print or not, but like all of Tesco and The Meatmen's work, should be readily available to anyone who likes heavy, fast, tight punk/rock/metal with the funniest lyrics you've ever heard. No subject is too taboo for Tesco, and I've always thought his stuff was funnier than bands like The Mentors, Dayglo Abortions, Angry Samoans,GG Allin(all great in their own right). Long live Tesco Vee(c'mon back Tesco, the world needs you now more than ever!!!)."
