Not the best TVP compilation out there, but worth having.

"To be honest, I'm not sure where all of these songs come from or why they were put onto this album. If the people who assembled this were attempting to collect the best works of Dan Tracey and his band the Television Personalities, they certainly missed a lot. I can't understand why anyone would really care about both of the versions of "I know where Syd Barrett Lives" on this CD. If you are looking for an introduction to the Television Personalities, I would suggest Yes Darling but is it Art? instead of this.That being said though, this CD has 12 TVP songs that are not available on any CDs that are currently in print and a different version of "How I learned to Love the Bomb" than the one on Yes Darling. Most of these songs are pretty good, especially "I don't want to live this life". While this CD is an incomplete anthology of Tracy's songwriting career, it probably the best place to discover Tracy's more psychedelic songwriting side. TVP fans: you must get this CD!"

A collection of eps

"I do not own this cd but from looking at the track listing , it contains several import only eps, my favorite being the 4 track "Far Away And Lost In Joy" and "How I Learned To Love The Bomb." These eps are appear with all tracks here while "Yes But Is It Art " contains only a few of the latter. Even if you get all the compilations there are some 4 or 5 ep songs left off so this on seems to fill in the gaps."
