"Teddy Pendergrass was one bad brother back in the day. he had the ladies in the palm of his hand with his soulful throwdowns and his direct approach to his soulful booming vocals. also with the Great songwriting and Production team of Gamble and Huff he created some of the best Soul Music over the past 30 plus years. this compilation showcases the songs he made that spoke of a cool time in music and his placing in R&B music. he understood the moment without being tacky.

the arrangements and grooves are timeless as the man's voice. RIP"
